It provides information on such topics as citrus varieties, nutrition, irrigation and water mangement, cold protection, pest control, grove management, and laws and safty standards. The CD also contains the 1998 Florida Citrus Pest Management Guide, which includes pesticide and rate recommendations for a variety of citrus pests. The CIT*Xpert Diagnostic System
CIT*Xpert has been developed for commercial growers, county extension agents and homeowners which can aid in the identification of disorders for citrus.A decision matrix was utilized to represent the diagnostic reasoning process and knowledge obtained from consultations with research and extension specialists with expertise in diagnosing disorders. Users are asked to identify symptoms of an unknown problems by morphological regions of a tree. By selecting one or more specific symptoms the user proceeds through the diagnostic process with the aid of full screen color images of symptoms, summary documents and hyperlinks to extension publications. All summary documents and extension documents can be printed.
